SALT TAKES A FRESH approach to the powers that we use to experience the world.
We look at items that evoke us to see, hear, smell, taste and touch and we’ve tossed in an extra just for fun – feel.
One of the stand-outs of the rustic folk/pop revival, The Lumineers’ self-titled and rather rambunctious debut album is full of little gems that are bound to become personal favourites.
The hit song “Ho Hey” is the rollicking, foot-stomping, heart melter that might draw an audience to their album initially, but it is songs like “Stubborn Love” and “Classy Girls” that will convert an easy listener into a die-hard fan.
With insightful lyrics and uplifting beats, The Lumineers are a welcome addition to the growing roots movement.

Surely there is nothing more enticing than a sumptuous period drama with a clandestine affair, a mad king, an illegitimate child and historically significant politics?
A Royal Affair is Denmark’s Oscar-worthy offering, bringing together a stellar cast and one of the world’s best writer/director partnerships to intelligently and fascinatingly introduce the world to a true story of romance, tragedy and court intrigue.

Peace Love & Vegetables have created a food revolution with their Byron Bay Superkraut and Cultured vegies – an alchemy of organic ingredients fermented with beneficial bacteria to build immunity.
We know the vegies are happy because they’re listening to music while they ferment!
And the word on the street is they taste so good they’re running off the shelf.
